Frequently Asked Questions
No, the SACCO is not open to everyone. To qualify for membership, you must be a Veterinarian or a veterinary paraprofessional. This must be evidenced by registration with the Uganda Veterinary Board (UVB), Uganda Veterinary Association (UVA), or Uganda Veterinary and Para-Professional Association (UVPPA), or by providing a copy of a veterinary degree or diploma obtained from a recognized institution.
Membership fee is Ugx 50, 000 (payable once)
The minimum monthly contribution is UGX 50,000. However, members also have the option to make quarterly deposits of UGX 150,000, biannual deposits of UGX 300,000, or an annual deposit of UGX 600,000, depending on their preference.
