BENEFITS OF BECOMING A MEMBER OF VETWEALTH SACCO

You gain access to affordable credit at a competitive interest rate of 14% per annum—significantly lower than rates offered by many other financial institutions, and with no hidden costs. By pooling resources, even small investors can access substantial credit facilities.
By becoming a member, you automatically become a shareholder of VWS. When you borrow from VWS, the interest charged on your loan directly contributes to the profits of the SACCO, which will be shared amongst the members as dividends, at end of year.
Your Savings and shares will be earning you interest at the rate of 5% and 6% respectively. Thus, your money will be working for you. In addition, your savings and shares will act as security when you want to acquire a loan from the SACCO
You get networked with fellow vets and para veterinary Professionals, to learn and exchange ideas on business and other professional skills. This is good for personal development.
VWS gives financial management skills (book keeping, cash flows etc.) to its members
You get quality customer services from fellow Vets who understand your concerns

You must be a Veterinarian or veterinary Para professional evidenced by registration with UVB, UVA or UVPPA, or copy of Vet degree or diploma obtained from a recognized institution
You pay a membership fee of Ugx 50, 000 (payable once)
Buy a minimum of 10 shares. Each share costs Ugx 10,000
Contribute a minimum monthly saving of Ugx 50,000. Quarterly deposits of Ugx 150,000 or biannual of Ugx 300,000 or annual of Ugx 600,000 are also acceptable
Fill a membership application form: attach photocopy of National ID, two passport size photos, give details of your next of kin.
